This
design was in the works for a nu-hardcore band called Sex Crimes
Against Nature. The concept was a cross between the Powerpuff Girls and Happy
Tree Friends ... cute, cuddly, cartoon guys, at first. But
the deeper into the site you went, the more dark and demented
the illustrations got. Because the music and lyrics were often
hard and sometimes controversial, we thought this approach would
be very effective. Due
to various circumstances, this site design/concept was never
used.

Here
is one of the band member's bio pages. Other interior illustrations
were planned to go along with the stranger personal photos.
Something
to note: there were eight tops to the sign post on the left nav
bar. Six of them said "Sex Crimes
Against Nature" in different suiting fonts. Two of them said "SCAN
FEST" with a barcode on the bottom (a band signature image).
These, along with the "Sally Says" button on the top right which
promoted and linked to various merchandise, were loaded at random.
